Value

Let’s think about value. You might have 10,000 dollars, but if the Federal Reserve prints more dollars those dollars will be worth less. There might be 10,000 of them, but they might be worth something like 7,000 dollars. You’ve lost value even if you still have the same amount of money. And then when you go to purchase something, it hasn’t lost value, or has even gained in value, so that you can buy less with that money. Because people are spending more of their overall dollars on fewer things, jobs are lost. This is in part how the national debt affects the economy. Much more would be added to the national debt if interest rates are increased, so instead more dollars will be printed in order to pay off the debt. That will cause even more massive inflation. There could reach a tipping point of chaos where people can’t afford food and lodging. When the various national currencies begin to become worthless and people need the basics to live, they might look for someone to give them what they want or need, and this could bring the whole world together. We all know that the world will end. We know that the kingdom of God will come through the reign of Jesus Christ. That is where the real value is. That is where our actual future is. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Lay up treasures in heaven.
